Fantasy outlook
The anchor
If you're picking one Yellow Jacket, make it Trelain Maddox. He has 63.6 CollegeFFB points through four games, good for 15.9 a game, and at $5.7M he costs less than plenty of backups around FBS.
Riser or value
Jordan Allen is the bargain receiver on this roster. At $5.1M he sits near the bottom of the price list, yet he's projected for about 14 against Virginia Tech in Week 7. That's starter-level production for a bench-level price.
This week
Georgia Tech visits Virginia Tech on Oct 17, and the Hokies are 4-2. Maddox projects for about 11, below his season average, so he's a solid flex play this week rather than a lineup centerpiece.
Player news
Trelain Maddox ran 10 times for 81 yards and 3 touchdowns and added 2 catches for 8 yards in Georgia Tech's 28-25 win over Duke on Oct. 10, good for 28.9 CollegeFFB points in that game. At $5.7M, Maddox is averaging 15.9 points a game this season and should remain part of the backfield plan when Georgia Tech visits Virginia Tech on Oct. 17.
