This Privacy Policy explains how College Fantasy Football, LLC ("we", "our", or "us") collects, uses, and protects information when you use our platform, including our website and mobile applications (collectively, the "Service").

College Fantasy Football, LLC operates the Service, which is currently offered free of charge. We do not sell your personal information. We use limited first-party analytics, described in Sections 3, 4, and 6, to understand how the Service is used. We do not run advertising and we do not use tracking technologies for advertising purposes. If we introduce paid features or additional data uses in the future, we will update this policy and notify you before those changes take effect.

2. Information We Collect

a. Information You Provide Directly

When using the Service, you may provide:

• Account information (email, username, favorite team)
• Fantasy gameplay data (lineups, transfers, captains)
• Communications (support messages, feedback)

b. Information Collected Automatically

We also collect limited technical data:

• Usage data (pages visited, time spent, clicks)
• Device and browser type
• IP address
• Performance and error logs (for stability and debugging)
• A push notification token, if you enable notifications in our mobile app. This identifies your device so we can deliver notifications, and is deleted when you sign out or disable them.

We do not collect sensitive information such as your real name, physical address, or payment details.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your data to:

• Create and manage your account
• Power core gameplay features (lineups, scoring, leaderboards)
• Maintain platform security and performance
• Prevent abuse or cheating
• Communicate important updates related to the Service
• Understand how the Service is used, through first-party analytics (Google Analytics), configured with Google Signals and ad personalization disabled
• Send push notifications you have opted in to, such as lineup reminders and weekly scoring results
• Comply with applicable legal obligations

We do not display advertising inside the Service, we do not share your data with advertising networks or data brokers, and we do not sell your personal information.

4. Information Sharing

We may share limited information in these cases:

• Public gameplay context: Your username, team name, and scores may be visible to other users in global or league leaderboards
• Service providers: We share data with vendors who help us operate the Service, including Vercel (hosting), Neon (database), Resend (transactional email), Sanity (blog content), Google Firebase Cloud Messaging (push notification delivery), and Rotowire / Rolling Insights (college football statistics)
• Analytics: We share usage and event data (such as page visits and a sign-up event) with Google Analytics for first-party analytics
• Legal reasons: To comply with lawful requests, court orders, or protect our rights
• Business transfer: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or asset transfer, with notice provided

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information under any circumstance.

5. Data Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational precautions to protect your data, including:

• Encryption of sensitive information
• Secure authentication and access control
• Role-based admin permissions
• Regular monitoring and auditing for abuse or data leaks

However, no system is 100% secure. By using the Service, you accept this inherent risk.

We and our providers use cookies and similar technologies on both our website and mobile applications for the following purposes:

• First-party analytics: Google Analytics, to measure performance and understand usage trends

We do not use these technologies for advertising, and we do not use them to track you across other companies' apps or websites.

7. Your Rights and Choices

You have the right to:

• Access and update your account details
• Delete your account and associated data at any time from within the Service, under Profile then Delete account. You may also request deletion by emailing admin@collegeffb.com.
• Turn push notifications off at any time, in your device settings or by signing out
• Opt out of non-essential communications (if any are sent)

8. Data Retention

We retain your information for as long as your account is active or necessary to provide services.

Upon account deletion, we erase your personal data unless retention is required for:

• Legal compliance
• Security investigations
• Platform stability (e.g., maintaining leaderboard integrity)

Anonymous, aggregated gameplay data may be retained for internal analysis and system improvement.

9. Children's Privacy

This Service is intended for users age 18 and older.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. If we learn we have collected such data, we will delete it promptly.

10. International Users

If you access the Service from outside the United States, please note that your data may be stored and processed in the U.S.

By using the platform, you consent to this transfer. If required in the future, we will implement GDPR-compliant tools for data access, consent, and deletion.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time.

If we make significant changes (especially regarding monetization or data use), we will notify users through the Service or email prior to enforcement.
