News
Jaylon Hawkins had 6 catches for 84 yards and 1 touchdown in San Diego State's 26-23 win over Fresno State on Oct. 17, good for 20.4 CollegeFFB points. Hawkins looks like he should keep getting chances in the San Diego State passing game at $5.3M, with his production carrying on from earlier in the year at 9.6 points a game this season. San Diego State plays at Colorado State on Oct. 24.
San Diego State coach Sean Lewis said senior running back Lucky Sutton "continues to progress and we're hopeful that he'll be able to contribute this week." Sutton has been sidelined by a high ankle sprain he first suffered during a loss at UCLA in Week 2 on Sept. 12, according to San Diego State Aztecs On SI.
San Diego State quarterback Jayden Denegal left the Old Oil Can rivalry game against Fresno State on Saturday night with an apparent ankle injury with about 7 minutes left in the first half, according to San Diego State Aztecs On SI. Coach Sean Lewis said at halftime that the team would re-evaluate Denegal and that "X-rays were negative, from what I heard."
Dylan Riley ran 19 times for 150 yards and 1 touchdown and added 4 catches for 64 yards and 1 more score in Boise State's 38-31 win at Fresno State on Oct. 10, good for 37.4 CollegeFFB points. Coach Spencer Danielson credited Riley and a banged-up offensive line for "finding a way." Averaging 24.4 points a game this season, Riley could add to that production at $12.6M when Boise State visits Washington State on Oct. 24.
