Landry Lyddy threw for 208 yards and 1 touchdown and added 1 carry for 2 yards in Southern Miss's 23-13 loss to Arkansas State on Oct. 17, scoring 8.5 CollegeFFB points in that game. Averaging 12.1 points a game this season, Lyddy has been a steady producer and could add to that production when Southern Miss faces Louisiana on Oct. 24, at $4.9M.
Steven Robinson ran 21 times for 84 yards and 1 touchdown and caught 5 passes for 33 yards in Southern Miss's 23-13 loss to Arkansas State on Oct. 17, good for 22.7 CollegeFFB points. Southern Miss hosts Louisiana on Oct. 24. Robinson has produced 16.4 points a game this season, and at $5.3M he could remain busy in the Southern Miss backfield.
Mario Sanders had a big game in Southern Miss's 55-34 loss at Troy on Oct. 6: 8 catches for 102 yards and 2 receiving touchdowns, plus 75 passing yards and 1 passing touchdown, for 37.2 CollegeFFB points. Sanders should keep getting chances given his dual role as a receiver and passer, and he has averaged 21.1 points a game this season. At $8M, he looks like a high-ceiling WR when Southern Miss faces Arkansas State on Oct. 17.
